PLANNING AND CONSTRUCTION OF MINI GOLF COURSES

At PROGOLF, we take pride in customizing each design of a minigolf course to create a challenging and fun course while maintaining a natural setting. We work closely with our clients to incorporate beautiful landscaping, elevation changes and eye catching holes. Each hole is carefully designed and tested to allow you to strategically putt the ball, and make the shot by utilizing skill, not luck.

By combining skill and fun, our courses not only draw them in once, but keep them coming back. If the layout is too simple, it will be boring to the players and if the layout is too difficult, it will turn off the players.

We are proud, that Walt 'Skip' Laun - founder of the Miniature Golf Association of America - said: ..... is the best builder in all the world, Pro Minigolf, Wolfgang Maier & Julien Maier, owners. .... Thank you Skip 😀.
Bischofshofen. Mini golf for championships, planned by mini golf champions.
Weissensee. Minigolf course with a playing surface made of artificial turf. The future of modern mini golf.
BRAMSCHE. Barrier-free minigolf course built by PROGOLF in Germany.
Mini golf courses have low maintenance and repair needs and last for many years to provide you with a consistently profitable experience. Your long-term bottom line depends on quality and nothing else. If your facilities are poorly built, they will require constant and expensive maintenance which will eat away your margin.

Consider that the sport was once played almost exclusively out of doors, whereas many centers now succeed by offering indoor play. In doing so, they’re tapping a whole new clientele, even at night.
Zingst. The adventure golf course is an important part of the tourist infrastructure.
SPAY. PROGOLF built the best felt golf course in France in Spay.
Algund. This modern minigolf course was built next to the river Adige.

Miniature Golf Courses

The materials are asbestos free cement sheetings. Our material is not sensitive to heat. The metal construction is made of hot-dip galvanized steel. The level of each track can be adjusted infinitely variable. The obstacles are made of high-grade steel, glass fibre and synthetic materials.

Normally it is a disadventage of miniature golf courses that the player cannot step onto the tracks. We offer the best quality available and it isn’t a problem if the players step into the tracks of our courses.

The tracks are 6,25 m long, 90 cm wide and the diameter of the finishing circle is 140 cm. The optimal area for the installation is between 800 and 1.400 m²

Miniaturgolf. This exemplary minigolf course was installed for the MGC Bischofshofen.
BALARUC LES VIEUX.. PROGOLF built this miniature golf course on the French Mediterranean coast in Balaruc-les-Vieux.
QUALITÄT. Our motto: best quality in the materials used and best quality in the work. Sanding the artificial turf.

Feltgolf Courses by PROGOLF

This type of minigolf course has been developed in Scandinavian.

We were the first constructor of minigolf courses in Europe who was able to offer felt golf courses (Swedish type) with a border made of hot-dip galvanized steel. For our outdoor-courses we don’t use any parts made of wood! This will guarantee you low maintainance and repair needs! The playing field is covered with a green turf (Golftex II) adapted for outside use. The teeing area is made of Nirosta.

The length of the track is between 6 – 18 m, its width is 0.9 m and the circle is formed by an octagon with diameter of 1.8 m or 2,4 m. The overall length of a good felt golf course is between 160 and 210 m. The course has to be placed on 30 cm deep strips on gravel.

The suggested area for installation of the course is between 1.200 and 2.000 m². The difficulty of the course depends on the selected obstacles and can be changed with adjustable obstacles. The feltcarpet keeps its quality between 10 and 13 years and can be changed without problems. On open air courses the green felt carpet looks much better than grey concrete.

More advantages of felt golf courses:

a) On hot summer days the feltcarpet will be not so hot as concrete or cement sheetings.
b) For the teeshot each track has a metal plate fixed on a block of concrete to protect the course.
c) On open air courses the green felt carpet looks much better than grey concrete.
d) For a felt course you need only strips of stone and no foundation of concrete.

OLCHING. For Olching, a barrier-free mini-golf course was a fixed point in the planning.
barrier-free. In Bramsche, special attention was paid to the regulations for barrier-free leisure facilities. .
ALGUND. In Italy, special emphasis is already placed on barrier-free leisure facilities.
